Stop by anytime to enjoy chalk art, live music, and local artisans and makers showcasing their work in our “Makers Village” in the AFBA parking lot at the corner of Montgomery St. & N. Saint Asaph St.
Follow the Old Town North Tern’s footprints from site to site and complete the scavenger hunt for a chance to win prizes including a gift certificate to a.lounge+bar generously donated by Hotel AKA.
One of our featured artists, Anita Angjeli, has already laid out the plans for her planned chalk piece, “Wings in Bloom,” which will include special opportunities for participation by visitors. Anita will be located in the AFBA parking lot.

Starting at 3pm

City Announcements
Madison and N. Saint Asaph St. Sewer Replacement Project
The City will be making capacity and drainage improvements to the sewer system at the intersection of Madison St. and N. Saint Asaph St. The Notice to Proceed on this work is dated September 8, 2025 (contractor has 120 days after this date to complete the work) and the project is expected to take two weeks. This work will have road and sidewalk impacts in that area including the closure of the south lane on Madison St., the west lane on N. Saint Asaph St., and the closure of the sidewalk on the corner where Royal Restaurant is located. The entrance to Royal Restaurant will remain accessible.

Waterfront Flood Mitigation Project
The City has announced a series of community meetings regarding the Waterfront Flood Mitigation Project. Feedback from these meetings will help guide the City in its preparation of the Development Site Plan Special Use Permit (DSUP) for the project, which it plans to present for approval in, or after, November 2025.
